Any personal information Martis Media is provided will be held securely, and personal information will not be sold or traded to another organisation or company.

Individuals

When Martis Media is provided people’s personal information – eg names, ranks, police force, age or DOB, email or postal address, telephone number, station addresses, length of service – this is kept securely within the Martis Media team database. This information will not be passed onto third parties without an individual’s permission.

Clients

Confidential Information from clients is deemed confidential. This shall include any information, which is clearly designated as confidential, including, but not limited to information about a party’s products and services, business plans, prices, financial information, passwords and other trade secrets, and anything tangible from which such information may be obtained or derived.

Website

When someone visits the Martis Media website – or the Ezine or Flipbook sites we produce for clients – we use a third party service to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site/click throughs. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone.

Social Media

Our website offers people the opportunity to ‘like’ or ‘share’ information about/from Martis Media on social media networks. We also maintain pages for clients on some of the largest social media networks. Sharing your personal data with a social media network may result in that information being collected by the social network provider or result in that information being made publicly available. Martis Media cannot control or endorse any policies or practices of external social media networks whose functionality you may access through our website or for any of the clients we work for. You should always read the privacy policy, and check your privacy settings, on any social media network through which you might share information over.

Your Rights

If an individual has provided Martis Media with your consent to use your data or personal information, you have the right to withdraw this at any time. In order to do so you should contact us by emailing royston@martismedia.co.uk
